Painted in 1962 this Sundblom Santa reinterprets some of the ideas presented in his earlier works, but with a style and spirit that is fresh and reflects the new era. Santa retains his adult size, but his personality remains childlike.

Although Haddon H Sundblom (1899 -1976) began his career as an illustrator, he ultimately became an advertising legend.
From 1924 until his death, Sundblom worked for the Coca-Cola company creating advertisements and becoming the companies most prolific artist.
