Handmade found object lamp or night light from Abby Normal's Workshop. A vintage pink poodle thermos from the 1960's forms the body of the rocket. A brass lamp finial forms the nose cone, and a vintage aluminum Jello mold houses the rocket engine made from a flicker-flame bulb. There is an additional LED bulb in the removable thermos cup that illuminates the nose cone. The rocket is attached to a black wood base (6 3/4 square) using a variety of vintage aluminum and brass parts. All of the electrical parts (sockets, bulbs, line switch, vintage-look black cloth-covered twisted-pair wire and black rubber polarized plug) are new. The lamp is about 11 wide by 14 high.
