I have this placed around the 1950s as far the company goes, made in USA all wool cruiser with double reinforcement in the sleeves.
I have owned a Filson mackinaw cruiser and this one is definitely more heavyweight than that. Wool is a bit softer on the filson tho.
I guess I have to clarify that THIS IS NOT A FILSON. Can you imagine, buying something that I never claim was a Filson, showing the tag for the brand, and then returning it because it is not a Filson? Assuming you have a greater level of reading than 5th grade, then this is for you!
Plenty of repairs have been done to this jacket already, buttons been resewed. There are some buttons missing under the left chest and the game pockets in the back, presumably to fit the front with. Other than that remarkable condition for its age, no rips, tears or stains. I hope you enjoy this!
